The bus passed through a modern town which I assume is also Segovia, it was mostly a residential area. Though it seems that the bus also picks up passengers from the town itself. I thought it was strange since people from the town can’t be visiting the old town that often, maybe they work there. Anyway, there wasn’t anything much to see in the town. It seems that the old town is a bit separated from the rest of the town of Segovia as the approach gave us a nice view of the old town. Before I knew it, we were pulling up at the town center. How do I know? There was this massive aqueduct in the middle of it all.
I was awestruck by the beauty of the aqueduct but I need to take care of my logistics first. I have a return ticket with me for the train back to Madrid, so I needed to know when the bus will be leaving back for the railway station. Unfortunately, the drivers at the bus weren’t very helpful. They didn’t seem to have the patience to deal with non-Spanish speaking people. The driver might have understood what I wanted to know and pointed me to the other side of the road where there is another bus stop. It seems this is where people wait for the bus to get back to the railway station. The sign here wasn’t very clear but it seems that it was roughly every hour that there is a bus. That is good, at least now I can plan for my trip here in the Old Town of Segovia.
