On our way back to the city of Dublin from the Hill of Tara, we were given a few options by our tour guide. We can get off at three different places in Dublin, first was at O’Connell Street, second was a Trinity College and the last stop was a the National Museum of Ireland. Our tour guide was recommending that we visit the National Museum of Ireland for people who were interested the stuff that was shown us earlier. I admit that it was very interesting to visit these ancient monuments so I decided to get off at the National Museum of Ireland. I think I have passed by the museum previously but I didn’t know. At least now that we were dropped right outside the museum I know that I will get there.
The museum is housed in an elegant government looking building. It was actually smaller than I thought it would be and it seems that it is just part of a originally bigger complex. The main door of the museum was facing the fence and a field which would have made sense if they were part of the same complex. It would seem that the complex was divided among the occupants and fences built between them. I like going to museums and I hope that the National Museum of Ireland is as interesting as I hope it would be.
