I think I was done sightseeing in Dublin Castle. It was an unexpectedly informative tour. This is no doubt thanks to our very knowledgeable tour guide. It was night time already, and it was time for dinner. I was thinking of heading to Temple Bar for dinner since this is one of the most happening places in the city. Temple Bar was just a few blocks from where I was. I wasn’t sure where it was exactly but I have a rough idea where it is. I just hope my dead reckoning is accurate enough to get me there as I have a tendency to bring me to unexpected places if I choose not to use a map.
As expected, Temple Bar was already filled with pedestrians. Not surprising, since this is the place to be at night. I think it was a bit too early to be pub crawling and it seems people are still going around to find food. This doesn’t seem to be an easy task as the Temple Bar isn’t exactly a very cheap area. Ever since I arrived here in Dublin, it has been nothing but not cheap meals. I was alarmed at how expensive it is to eat out here that I was hoping I would somehow stumble into some place which is affordable and yet tasty.
