I think it was still a bit too early to be hanging around the Temple Bar area. It wasn’t dark yet so people weren’t out in full force. It was nice to walk around here, at least I know that it was safe, maybe I would try coming back here after dark. It was still too early for dinner so I decided to continue walking about. The previous day had terrible weather and I didn’t get to go to some places because of that. I decided to try to revisit some of those places. The closest one from where I was was Dublin Castle. I didn’t know this but I saw some signs pointing to it, so I decided to revisit it.
The sky wasn’t blue anymore by this time but at least it wasn’t raining either. Hopefully, I would be able to better explore this place. The last time I was at Dublin Castle, the rain was pouring and I spent the time hiding beneath a nearby building. The castle didn’t seem to be that big but it figured in a lot of pivotal events in Irish history. It is the site for some ceremonies including the swearing in of a new president. The office seems to be open, maybe they have tours.
