I was finally tired from all that walking I did in the Dublin city center. It was nice but it could have been better. The constant rain put a damper on my wanderings about town that I decided to head back to the place where I’m staying. I won’t be staying at a hostel this time but rather with a guest house or what is called a bed and breakfast. I haven’t done this before so I was a bit anxious. My impression of a bed and breakfast is that I will be staying at another person’s house where I would be offered a bed and breakfast the next day. I think it is a bit strange to be staying at a total stranger’s house, but I could imagine it would be even more strange for the person leasing out the house since they will be letting total strangers in.
Actually I have already been to the place where I was staying in. That morning after I arrived at the bus station, I immediately heard towards Annagh House. Which was a short bus ride away from the bus station. I got my trusty GPS with me so I knew where I was going. The bus actually had an announcement on board but I could not understand what it was saying. Fortunately, I managed to get off at the correct stop. But at that time in the morning, the owner wasn’t ready for my rather early arrival. I was hoping to just leave some stuff before heading out. He told me to go get some breakfast first before coming back an hour later but I decided to just go out an explore the city the whole day and only go back that evening. I called him up to make sure he would expect me. That night I finally checked in Annagh House.
