We were on our way out of Lough Eske and we were just following the road which goes around the lake. It was a nicely wooded area and I thought it would have made for a good walking trail if not for the cars which would careen past this place. I think they should have safer trails here, perhaps the owners of the hotels here would set something up to at least help to protect their patrons should they decide to walk outside, but then again, that might not be very good business for the hotels since they would not be spending inside their respective hotels. From the stopover on the shores of Lough Eske, we saw this structure on the other side of the lake and it seemed to be another hotel, perhaps they also have a nice view of the lake.
We eventually found our way to Harvey’s Point, this is another higher end hotel but with a more modern look to it, at least when compared to Solis Lough Eske Castle which is actually a castle. Harvey’s Point has none of that but it still has a very attractive building. The building sits on the shores of Lough Eske and it probably has a better view compared to our previous hotel. It seems that Harvey’s Point is also another one of those hotels which we would have to pay a bit more to experience it, maybe we can have a look around first.
