Every week seems to be another adventure for us. I guess we were making hay while the sun shines. There was still some bits of summer and we were trying to make the most of it. Although summer here in Ireland seem to be a relative term, at least compared to the ones I have come to know. It doesn’t get sticky hot here and their definition of a heatwave is that it reaches 25 degrees Celsius. Admittedly, this doesn’t happen very often here so most people might not be used to. By now, summer is quickly fading away and autumn is fast approaching. Whenever I think of autumn, I would imagine trees with brilliant shades of red, orange and yellow. I have been dreaming of seeing forests like these but I had never lived in a place where there is an autumn season until now.
When I asked around where I could get nice photos of autumn, one of the places suggested to me was Ards Forest Park. I remember this place as we have passed by this place a couple of times. It is near enough Letterkenny that we didn’t really need a GPS to remember where it is. Colorful forests of autumns colored leaves filled my imagination. I am looking forward to this place hopefully I would get lucky and have a few nice photos. If not, I could always come back and remember what nice places there were here.
