I didn’t really know if the hill here at Melmore Head actually had a name. My research didn’t say that it has one. Anyway, we were at Melmore Head and I thought it was just another case of just admiring the rugged cliffs at yet another head. This time we were in for some hillwalking. There was a hill to the right of the beach at Melmore Head and we were attempting to climb it. It doesn’t seem to be a daunting task as the hill didn’t seem pretty high. Actually from the beach, it seems that it was quite high, now that we are climbing it, it didn’t really seem too much of a challenge.
There wasn’t really a clear trail here, so we were basically just walking all over the place where it doesn’t seem that dangerous. On the way up, two climbers on their way down pointed to us a trail which they used and told us to use it. Actually, it didn’t really seem that much different from the trail we were using but we used it anyway. Slowly we would make progress and the beach area looked further and further away. It wasn’t vertigo inducing heights but it was still nice. It was not long before we reach the summit.
