I knew that I would be going to the city of Derry-Londonderry, I did a quick scan of what I can do there. I have already visited the major ones here – the Walls of Derry and the Peace Bridge, but I think there are still some places which I can visit here. I discovered that I can visit a few more places. However, it turns out that I would have a little help. I was walking outside the walls of Derry-Londonderry when someone called me. He noticed that I had a camera around my neck and was asking if I needed help around town. He was a friendly guy, though based on experience, I was wary of his intentions. He recommended a few places for me to visit, including ones which I did not know about, we went on his way and I decided to go see the places he mentioned.
Since I was already on this side, I decided to first explore the area around the Peace Bridge. One of the major points of interest in the area of the Peace Bridge is Ebrington Square. This newly renovated square is the site for numerous city activities. This was probably in response to the rise of Guildhall Square as the center of activities. Erbington Square is far larger than Guildhall Square but it is less attractive in my opinion. There were several old but refurbished government buildings surrounding a dusty square where are activities are to be held. There wasn’t really much to see here apart from the old buildings. After taking a few shots, I made my way back to the Walled City.
