We were finally on out way back home from an afternoon of exploration at Malin Head. It was a beautiful trip as the weather was also cooperating. I wish the weather was like this everyday, however, that is more of the exception than the rule. We made our way out of Malin Head by the main road, so we need not pass through that horrible excuse for a road which our GPS navigation software managed to map. Turns out there was a far easier path here so that you will get there without the stress of wondering whether your car will start slipping down that path. On our way back, we spotted this large group of vintage vehicles parked on the side of the road. It seemed to be near a shop. This piqued our curiosity and we decided to follow suit.
The name of the shop was The Curiosity Shop. This is a small shop along the road to Malin Head. It was a charming little cottage and there seemed to be a lot of people milling about. The shop was selling numerous knick knacks primarily for decoration. Think of it as selling stuff from you attic. This is no garage sale though as a lot of the stuff they sell are quite attractive. However, I have no need for these things and I was content to observe what they have for sale. As it turns out, the large group of people in the shop turned out to be some kind of vintage car owner group. I have never seen such a large group of vintage cars on the road and they do seem to be in perfect condition. I supposed they are really road worthy or else they would not have made it all the way here in Malin Head.
