It seems that we have finally reached out destination. One of the main points of interests here in Glenveagh National Park is the Glenveagh Castle. The castle is built on the shores of the lake at Glenveagh. You can see the castle from the walking path and you probably know that you are there when you see the garden. Much as I want to start photographing the castle, it seems we would be having a small stopover. There was a small coffee shop at the castle grounds and we would be having some tea before we start exploring. The coffee shop is quite typical of coffee shops in Ireland. It usually follow a “country” house theme and it is usually cozy. This one is much brighter though but nice nonetheless.
People need to queue near the sandwiches counter to order food, though I didn’t know that. There was no one at the counter when I was there so I wasn’t really sure what to do. Do I just grab the stuff and bring them to the cashier? When someone showed up behind the counter then I managed to get my bearings. I ordered some quiche, but they also have other stuff like cake, sandwiches and paninis. For course I had some tea. The coffee shop had a nice crowd there as well. Which kind of surprised me considering the weather at that time. One part of the coffee shop brings you to the castle grounds itself. It is time for some exploring!
