After one particular bend along the lake at Glenveagh National Park, we finally reach a place which is not in the middle of nowhere. We were greeted by the gates to what appears to be a garden. I was quite surprised to see a garden here until I realized that this place used to be owned by someone. It was mindblowing to know that someone actually owned this land back then. Why do you need a garden when you have all this natural beauty all around you? Anyway, the garden wasn’t huge compared to other gardens I have seen. However, I did notice that this has probably the most intense green grass I have ever seen.

The grass here at the garden was finally manicured and it is obviously well cared for. The wet and cold climate of Ireland also help to nourish these plants as well. The garden was nice as it also have numerous plants from around the world, from places as far away as Australia and even China. Apparently, these were brought in by the owner. I wonder how these non-native plants managed to stay isolated and not spread out from the garden. It was not just plants that were brought, I was surprised to see an Asian lion statue at the garden, of all things. It was a actually a Balinese lion statue brought back by the owner.
