I was making my way to Letterkenny’s main street when I ran into one of their architectural gems here at Mouth Southwell Terrace. It featured some magnificent samples of Georgian architecture. There was another building on the left but the gate was closed so I wasn’t able to take photos of that rather interesting looking house. I continued on my way down the hill until I came into this small park. This area is called Market Square and there is a shopping center right across the street with that name. The park here isn’t really very big but it is a nice touch to leave a place for a park here.
The park feautres a small gazebo and of course seats in it. The park have lots of plant life typical of Ireland and I suppose flowers can easily grow here since it is always raining here. There is also public art here with some statues of children. It seems kids like hanging out at this park as at the time of my visit, there was a group of rather rowdy teenagers hanging out at the park. I would remember this group of kids as I would run into them several times later that day.
