I was glad we managed to find this place here in El Nido. Ipil Beach was the place we decided to move to after we were unceremoniously booted out of Seven Commando Beach by their security personnel. It was indeed a blessing in disguise as I can confidently say that Ipil Beach is much prettier than Seven Commando Beach. The karst mountains rising behind Ipil Beach provide a dramatic backdrop to a beautiful white sand beach. It seems to be the perfect place to be in the afternoon as it is in the correct direction to catch the setting sun’s rays.
I was probably too happy to be taking photos of Ipil Beach that I forgot what we came her to do. It was finally swimming time. Admittedly, I’m not a swimming person as I am not that confident in my skills. Over the course of the tour, I have already dipped in the water several times, sometimes chest deep in pursuit of a better photo. Now that I got rid of the camera, I can now go swimming without any worries. Though the sun is not as intense anymore, it is still bad for the skin so I was constantly staying in the shade of our boat at the same time watching out that our boat doesn’t hit me in the head and knock me out.
