We were unceremoniously chased out of a Seven Commando Beach because of some over-zealous security staff of the now privately own Seven Commando Beach. Rather than having a mindless discussion on what is right or not, we just abandoned our plan on spending the rest of the afternoon at Seven Commando Beach and left in disgust. Fortunately, our boat man is experienced and knows an alternative site. Best of all it was nearby. It was actually just on another side of the island even closer to El Nido Town. Ipil Beach will be our last destination, at least I think it would be.
Ipil Beach is nowhere as popular or as busy as Seven Commando Beach but rest assured that it is just as nice there as well. The beach here isn’t very long nor is it very wide but it was enough for the few people who were here at the beach. The sun was quite low in the sky by this time and it wasn’t super hot. Indeed, it was the best time to be here at Ipil Beach. It seems that the events at Seven Commando Beach were a blessing in disguise, if it weren’t for them chasing us away, we would not have discovered this place.
