We finally arrived our next island in our parade of islands to explore here in El Nido where the Bacuit Archipelago is. This time it would be a cave we would be exploring. No one told us the name of this island, I assume that it is named Codognon Island where the cave presumably got its name. Our boatman isn’t really big on facts but he much more into his experiences with the island. Naturally, most of the time he would be just ferrying passengers from island to island, as it was his day job. I have no idea how much he makes in a day but with the constant flow of visitors here in El Nido, I suppose he can each enough to survive here.
The beach here at Codognon Island is just as nice as the others. This seems to be a feature of these island here in the Bacuit Archipelago. Perhaps the limestone nature of the islands help as well. The karst here is not as spectacular though but it more than makes up for that in the form of a cave. The cave is quite easy to locate especially if you happen to arrive with other tour groups. It is to the left of the island if you somehow arrive by yourself. Either way your boatman will bring you there, it seems this is the only place you can see here.
