While we were waiting for the sun to go down, we were having fun talking to the American who happened to be there even before we arrived. He was a photographer and he seemed to be enjoying his stay here in the Philippines. Sunset chasing seems to be the de rigueur activity here in El Nido. You have absolutely beautiful islands here and clam sea, perfect for taking sunset shots. The previous sunset shot we have at Corong-corong was a mild disappointments as we didn’t any after sunset light show. The action doesn’t stop after the sun goes down. There is still a good 15 minutes of left over light which may or may not illuminate the higher clouds producing a beautiful light show.
We intend to wait for that but the amount of clouds in the sky threaten that opportunity. While we can still see the sun, the rest of the sky is already cloudy. It doesn’t look good. Additionally, the sun was setting behind a hill from a piece of land protruding from El Nido. I was quite disappointed here but we continued taking shots anyway. I guess, this is where you creativity comes in. Unfortunately, I do not have too much of that.
