Impressive Terminal Building of the Kunming Changshui International Airport 昆明长水国际机场
I was very content with the Kunming Changshui International Airport, it is a far cry from other international airports I have been to. Some were even named as the worst airport in the world. The new Kunming Changshui International Airport is a marvel in engineering and it is the second largest airport terminal in the country, the largest I think is the one in Beijing. It seems that my flight was slightly delayed, that means I would have to have lunch in the air, or before that. I scouted the airport but most of the food here was very expensive. I don’t really understand how people here can pay for such food.
Last Chance at Crossing the Bridge Noodles
In the end, managed to find a convenience store and bought myself some instant noodles. Not very cheap instant noodles either. At least better than paying CNY 100 for a meal. Fortunately, it was easy enough to get hot water to cook my instant noodles. I sat myself near an announcement board. There was no one else nearby except for some airport staff who was also taking a break. I was thankful that the terminal building is so large that it feels like it is empty. Now if they would only put some affordable eating places here then I would be happy.
