It is really very tiresome to pack all of my stuff to move out of a place. It is troubling enough to move from city to city, but even more so when you need to get on a plane to get out. It was the day I head out of China, I will be boarding a flight from Kunming to the southern boomtown of Shenzhen on my way out of China. To get to the airport from my hostel I took the lazy way out, I hired a taxi to bring me to the hotel where the airport buses park. It was actually nearby but the cabbie didn’t seem to know where it was. I only had the address with me but he was patient in looking for the actual address itself. The cab actually had to go in one of the smaller streets to get to the hotel but nothing too difficult.
The buses here are similar to the buses which I took coming in to Kunming. Buses leave the hotel every hour and you can see that a lot of people come here. Most of the people taking the bus are people working in the airport itself. It is such a pity too since the old airport used to be very near the city but it recently moved out to the outskirts in the name of progress. It is a prudent move since there was no room for expansion at the old location what with the city continually expanding. It was a very pleasant ride to the airport and I was glad to see this brand new airport once again. Maybe this time I would have more chances to take photos of the terminal.
