The Minor Stone Forest is a rather dense collection of karst within the Stone Forest park itself. The karst there are supposedly quite beautiful and a representative of the karst that can be found here in the park. A lot of visitors have converged here as this is probably one of the more significant places in the park. There is a small lagoon inside the minor stone forest, much like the Stone Forest itself. The place was okay since everything was packed together closely but there were too many people here as well.
I could appreciate the beauty of these stone formations but I guess there is only so much you can take. We took our shots at the Minor Stone Forest and my Swede companions had their photos taken with some local tourists again. Sometimes I wonder how it would feel to be born white and come here. Sure prices here will be higher for you but you get to be treated like a superstar. I don’t think that happens in the Western world.
