I was very much pleased with our hiking of the Cang Mountains. Most of the trails here were very flat with only a handle of stairs to navigate if ever. I remember there was a flight of stairs which was headed straight for the top of the mountain. My travel companion asked me which way we were to go, I naturally went with the flat road. I wasn’t exactly in the mood for stair climbing, and I was lucky since there was an option for an easy route. I guess this is where all the older folk do their hiking.
Which brings me to my point, they have trails for all sorts of people from very active people to weak people like me. The view from the flat trail wasn’t terribly inspiring since all were could see are the surrounding mountains. One can immediately notice how lush this mountain is and despite all the environmental problems which the country has seen, large parts of it are already protected. The trail itself is carved from the mountainside so you might seem parts of the trail which have overhangs. All in all, this is a nice place to stretch your legs and hike.
