I finished my dinner quite early and I was just watching people pass by. There were more and more people by now as it was almost sundown. Usually people come out here in full force by then. It wasn’t exactly very hot here so it was nice to walk around the ancient town and take in the scenery. Ancient towns in China are always very nice as they are always lit up making walking through them a delightful experience.
I guess I like this place because there weren’t as many people here in the town as compared to Lijiang which is overflowing with people. They can stay in Lijiang for all I care since this town is much more pleasant to explore. The main street here is full of people but not enough to irritate me. I guess my tolerance for large crowds has also increased ever since I started visiting China.
