Shika Snow Mountain in the Backgroud at the Grassy Plain
I was delighted to see such a wide expanse of green. I am used to seeing jungle and even rice fields. But this is the first time I have been to a very large grassy plain. It was as if I was as someones garden. The grassy plain also seems to be a delight to the locals as well since these people probably live and grew up in the city and were just as fascinated with these places. The grassy plain seems to extend all the way to the mountain but I don’t think I really plan to go all the way there.

Adding to my fascination, there were animals on the plain. Horses and yak graze on the grass here. There were also black pigs roaming the area. The animals weren’t that plentiful though probably they just keep a few here. There were some log houses in the distance, it would appear that someone actually lives here maybe I would check this out. Seeing as there were a few animals wandering about, it would be wise to see where you are stepping lest you bring something back to your hostel.
