The scenery on top of Shika Snow Mountain was decidedly uniform. There was thick fog on top of the mountain and it was difficult to see anything here. I was under the impression that we would be so high that clouds should no longer be an issue here. Well, I stand corrected. The clouds were so thick that I could not see the top of the mountain properly. In fact the wooden walkway right in front of was also quite hazy already. I don’t know if the weather will clear up soon but I would want to explore this place for a while.
I was a bit dismayed to see a complex wooden walkway on top of the mountain. Probably because it means that I would still have to do a little climbing here on top of the mountain. I was already worried about having to expend effort to breathe normally and here I was with a long wooden walkway to climb to the top of the mountain itself. The cable car station wasn’t exactly at the top of the mountain, there still some ways to go. Should not be a problem, I will just take it very slowly.
