One of the Lights at the Kunming Changshui International Airport 昆明长水国际机场 Garden Area
I was definitely impressed by the new international airport of Kunming. It is seldeom that I visit a place whose airport is one of the attractions. I guess I’m a big fan of architecture such as these. The massive terminal building of the airport is a sight to behold. The authorities also made sure to keep the place interesting as there were also gardens and fountains outside the terminal building, in typical Chinese fashion. There were also photos of the terminal building at night which I’m sure will be absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, I won’t have a chance to see the terminal at night so I would have to make do with this.
Routes of the Airport Shuttle to Kunming City
I needed to remind myself that I just got there. Actually, the heavy bags I was carrying did it all for me. After round of photo taking. I made my way to the airport shuttle area. There were three routes which one could take. I needed to go to the western bus station but there was no direct bus to go there. I was told to board one of the buses and it should be quite walkable from there. There is an English speaking information desk at the terminal building and you should not have any problem communicating with them.
