I was exhilarated with the huge amount of fish to be seen here at Turtle Beach. As you may know, I hardly go swimming, much less snorkeling. Underwater photography has been a dream of mind but it is not easy to progress from normally dry land photography. Unbeknownst to me, our boatman/tour guide Kasman, was busy taking photos of us enjoying the fish at Turtle Beach. No wonder the group was small since he would be able to take better care of the group if it was small. More importantly, he was also busy taking photos underwater. This is also part of his service to us. For a fee, we can take home these memories he took with his digital camera with underwater casing.
It was interesting to see the photos he took from turtle beach. It was only then that I realized that there was a very large fish that was in the vicinity. Kasman was there to take photos as well. It seems he has honed his deep diving that he is able to dive deep and take photos with ease. I notice how the other would have difficulty diving deep. I won’t be able to know why since I can hardly swim myself. The large fish was similar in size to the Napoleon Wrasse that I see in marine parks. My co-tourists had a field day trying to get near the fish, of course with restraint since they might scare the fish away. The fish didn’t seem to mind though as it was timidly swimming about, but always keeping a watchful eye on that human flailing about.
