We were enjoying the morning sun at the small jetty at Long Beach at Perhentian Kecil. The sun has sun risen and it has started to get very bright. The weather seems to be great so far with nary a cloud in sight. The beach is still devoid of people, though I don’t think it would be that crowded even at its peak, which is why I really like this place. This may be a jetty but there don’t seem to be any vessels using this jetty for now. Perhaps the ferries from the mainland would bring passengers here? But there didn’t seem to be anyone waiting here, perhaps we were still a little too early for that. Now is the time to enjoy the freshly minted morning sun.
We were enjoying the morning and just basically hanging out at the jetty, since we were just waiting for breakfast time. It was still quite early in the morning and not a lot of people are awake this time of the day. Not all but some are already awake. All of a sudden we have some company. A man walked down the jetty and was carrying stuff including a basket. It seems that he is a fisherman. I was wondering how he could catch any fish this close to the shore. As it turns out, we weren’t paying much attention to our surroundings. The waters around the jetty were overflowing with small fish and where there is small fish, there is big fish.
