Sunrise at Perhentian Kecil
We woke up uncharacteristically early that morning, considering how tired we were from the travelling we did the previous day. We naturally wanted to get some decent sunrise photos here at Perhentian Kecil. We only get two chance here since we will be leaving the following day. We were kind of hoping that the weather will cooperate when we start our photo taking. When we arrived at the Long Beach we quicky discovered that the sun will be rising close to where Perhentian Besar was. Fortunately for us there was a small jetty to the left of the beach where we can try to get some photos.
Early Morning at Perhentian Kecil
As it turns out, the jetty here was the best place to do photo shoot in the morning. The sun rises just off to the side of Perhentian Besar giving us a clear view of the sun. One thing I realized was that the sun travels so quickly in the sky despite how it may appear. One needs to move fast to get proper photos here. I didn’t bring any filters with me but it managed to get decent shots. I think. The weather was great giving us a clear view of the brightening sky.
