We have a lot of time to spare here in Kuala Terengganu since the bus will only arrive at 10am. We can’t purchase any tickets as we were instructed to buy tickets on the bus. So I guess, it would be one of those smaller bus companies. Part of me was kind of sorry that I didn’t get to Kuala Terengganu much earlier, but there wasn’t anything I could do since there was only one bus company going the from Singapore. Anyway, we are taking this chance to have a look at how Kuala Terengganu is.
Our first stop was the Shahbandar Jetty, this is where the most buses from other places drop off their passengers probably before proceeding to the bus terminal. Most people would be bound for Pulau Redang but we won’t be going there. However, along the shore I already noticed that the waters here seem to quite clear. I guess we were already that near to the nice beaches and islands which Pulau Redang is known for. The promenade area near the Shahbandar Jetty is also quite pleasant. You can walk around here while waiting for your ride or just for a morning stroll.
