The trouble with getting a bus to Malaysia from Golden Mile Building is that there isn’t really a comfortable place to wait for your bus. Unlike a proper bus terminal, the Golden Mile Building only has a parking lot where the buses wait. The people on the other hand have to wait either inside the ticket agent’s office, which doesn’t really have enough space, unlike let’s say a bus. You can also wait outside the building itself, where the closest seats here are among the plants. While waiting you keep an eye for each bus that comes by hoping that this is finally the bus you will take. I really hope this place gets upgraded or relocated with a proper bus terminal because honestly, the places doesn’t look like Singapore at all.
Anyway, our bus eventually got there but not afer checking with the ticket agent several times. I will be meeting my friend in Kuala Terengganu while he will be heading to Kuala Lumpur and then to Kuala Terengganu. I’m not sure who got the more pleasant trip. He flies to Kuala Lumpur while I take a long bus ride all the way there. The bus to Kuala Terengganu is much like all the other buses I have rode when going to Malaysia. Usually there are different classes for the buses here with varying degrees of comfort. However, there was only one trip to Kuala Terengganu and this is what I get. There was a screen behind each seat where passengers can watch videos or even play games. I played around with it a little then quickly lost interest. I was too tired to watch any movies I just watched outside the window as our bus was pulling out of the Golden Mile Building.
