I needed to head back in the Tainjin Railway Station as I could not spend more time at the delightful promenade just outside the station. I needed to take a bus from the Tainjin Railway Station to the Tianjin Binhai International Airport. From my investigations, I was told that the bus to the airport was somewhere behind the train station. The trouble is there weren’t any signs pointing to the direction of the bus terminal or whatever it was. After several more questions, I found out that I needed to walk to go in the Tianjin Railway Station, which means scanning my stuff again, and walk to the end of the train station.
I was surprised to see that the Tianjin Railway Station waiting area was just as modern as the one in Beijing and Shanghai, it really didn’t have a hint that there was such a big structure inside. Just like the terminal in Beijing and Shanghai, this one also has a skylight to brighten the interiors, saving electricity. The station itself seems to be smaller than the one in Beijing and Shanghai as it felt much more crowded than those other two. The station was still quite long as I had to walk a while to get to the end of the station. I needed to go down the stairs to get outside the station building, which was basically the back door. From here, you need to walk left to get to the bus “terminal”. The bus terminal is actually just a waiting area where there is a bus heading to the airport, just ask around which one will be leaving soon.
