The Fourth hall of the Beijing Lama Temple is the Hall of the Wheel of the Law. I was already used to seeing these kind of halls that they don’t really make much of an impression on me anymore. I have visited numerous halls here in China that I can’t really tell the difference anymore. Much of the architecture is Qing in nature I can tell because the design is very similar to the Forbidden City. If you are not up to spending an entire afternoon exploring the Forbidden City and don’t really care much about history, the lama temple here might be a good substitute since they look alike.
The Hall of the Wheel of the Law has a Chinese name but it is quite controversial that I have decided to omit the Chinese name from this post, lest the website be mistakenly blocked by certain countries. At the time of my visit there seems to be a Buddhist ceremony going on and there were a lot of monks in the hall all seated and chanting. The scene was mesmerizing until someone accidentally bumps into you. This is obviously a place of these kinds of activities and is one of the more important places in the temple.
