It has been a while since I visited a new place here in Singapore. Once in a while people in our office would try to go out if only to try to avoid eating at the same place over and over again. This time my colleagues were craving for Tony Roma’s. I have been to a few Tony Roma’s restaurants and I must say I really liked it. This would be my first time to partonize this restaurant in Singapore tough since I was quite pricey for my tastes. Anyway, it seems my colleagues have some sort of coupon which would give some discounts so we took this chance to try it. The only branch I know of was in Suntec City, it has been there ever since I arrived here and it seemed to be a permanent fixture in Suntec. However, we found out that they have moved out of that location and have moved further inside the mall, still at basement one though.
We ordered the signature baby back ribs which were still as succulent as I last had them ages ago. The rack of ribs were massive and were perfect for us to share. This was great since we get to try all sorts of other stuff. One other item which became my favorite was their onion loaf. This is basically a large heap of onion rings fried to perfection. It was likewise a delicious as ever. We ordered other stuff as well but they didn’t impress me as much as the baby back ribs, after all this was their specialty. I was glad to have the chance to eat here again but kinda sad to see them leave their old place near the fountain. The place did seem to be much brighter and cozier than the old place though.
