I decided that today will be my last day in Haebin, so I need to see what else the city has to offer. I had a quick look at the travel tips at the Haerbin Kazy International Youth Hostel there was something mentioned about a temple which apparently was quite important. The Jile Temple was a significant temple in Haerbin so I decided to have a look. Again, transportation was easy to get here as there were instructions on where to get the bus and where to get off. I go off at the correct bus stop but all I saw was a very bus street with no sing of a temple.
I had to walk a little further up to see where I needed to go. There was a street which had some temple looking stuff, but that wasn’t really the temple. The temple was still a block away. I guess that was good enough. Sometimes I wonder why I don’t get a device with GPS so I won’t have to do this. Yes, it will be much more convenient if I knew where I was, but crazily enough, I think it would be much more fun if I tried to find it myself. The temple was in a very quiet street and it doesn’t seem to be very touristy, I guess you could this is more authentic. The temple complex didn’t seem to be very big, so I should be out in no time.
