It took us a while to be able to find the Siberian tiger. Unfortunately for us, the tigers were a bit too far for us to see and photograph. I was under the impression that they would be coming to the vehicle and be curious and all. I guess they have seen too many of these buses and that no food every comes out of it. The tigers were just minding their own business and didn’t even draw near. I was hoping that the driver would bring us closer to them but no.
This might not have been intentional, but I was seated on the front on the right side of the bus I was expecting to be able to get good shots of the tigers from here. Unfortunately, the tigers kept appearing on the left side of the bus. I could hardly get any good shots of the tigers. However, there was one moment when we encountered a tiger crossing the road in front of us. I held my breath for a few moments as I watch with wonder at this powerful creature. The tiger didn’t mind us at all and neither did the others. For most of the bus ride, the tigers were all on the left side of the bus. I despaired at how I didn’t bring my telephoto lens with me, though it might not be very useful either since the sky was overcast and the tigers kept moving about.
