Large Crowd of People Watching Line Dancing in Haerbin 哈尔滨
I was walking away my dinner in Zhongyang Street. There were a lot of people but the place was still quite pleasant. There weren’t the noisy tour groups here, they were probably mostly local people just having a good time. This is by no means the only commercial center here in Haerbin, however, this is by far the most popular one. I don’t think a lot of people buy from the shops here anyway, maybe the tourists. The restaurants tend to lean towards the pricey side. So what do you do here, as it turns out, some people do line dancing here!
Line Dancing in the Cold in Haerbin 哈尔滨
Line dancing? Yes, remember that large street that cuts across Zhongyang Street? There was a large group of people, most of them probably over the age of 50, doing line dancing. I always thought they did this as a form of exercise, which was usually done in the day, but I was surprised to see this after dinner. The elderly folk fit enough to do this, usually do this with aplomb. The street wasn’t that brightly lit and maybe they like it that way. As usual, there is a large group of people gathering around them enjoying the scene.
