Impressive Mountain Peaks at Huangshan 黄山
The weather in Huangshan wasn’t exactly perfect when we climbed up. The mist was so thick that only the closest peaks are viewable. I wasn’t exactly in the mood for viewing since I was also very tired from all the climbing. Anyway, I saved CNY 80 from the cable car. The views of Huangshan were much better from the top than from the bottom. It is really exhilarating to be on top of mountains looking down on them. Huangshan mountainsides have a lot of exposed rock and plants growing in between them.
Faraway Peaks in Huangshan 黄山
It is much like a Chinese painting again. I really wonder why these beautiful mountains seem to be the monopoly of China. I would have hoped for some clouds floating from below giving it an even more ethereal feeling. There is no sea of clouds here, maybe it just wasn’t high enough, that was a bit disappointing. Anyhow, we do have a lot of time since we will be spending the night on top of them mountain. I think this is the first time I have done it in China and I am looking forward to it.
