The Confucius Temple is a temple almost two thousand years old. It is dedicated to one of the most influential people of all time, and yet somehow as important sounding as this place sounds, it isn’t flooded by numerous flag toting tour groups. Yes, there will always be that tour group who is always out to ruin your day, but it would seem that it is much more pleasant to be exploring this place rather than the Forbidden Palace.
The Confucius Temple has several halls who’s names are lost to me. However, they are still full of character. In one wing, I saw a hall filled with what I assume to be sacrificial altars, complete with small steles. The scene was actually a bit creepy since there weren’t any people around at that time. It felt like one of those Japanese horror films. I’m almost done exploring the Confucius Temple and I was almost time to move on. I have a schedule to keep so I need to hurry up.
