Apparently, the Taishan International Youth Hostel is located at a very nice place. The Dai Temple is a very significant temple and the hostel is just a stone’s throw away from it. I finally manged to contact my friend and apparently she also lives nearby. Tai’an isn’t really that big so it was quite easy to get from place to place. She picked the Dai Temple as the meeting place, although she probably didn’t know how near I was to the temple.
Actually the hostel is inside a small “old street” type of place but once you get out to the main street you can already see the Dai Temple. As one might expect, the Dai Temple is a major landmark in the city and it is hard to miss. I only need to cross the street to get there but as it happened my friend was waiting on the other side of the temple. I thought I was on the south gate of the temple, but it seems I was mistaken. Anyway, while waiting for my friend, I started taking photos of the place.
