We had to go around the large Hall of Supreme Harmony to be able to move on. Apparently, this was there all the people where, for when I was behind the Hall of Supreme Harmony, I was greeted by an even larger number of people. It was really difficult to get proper photos here since there were always people in the way. Tour groups where busy dragging their guests from one site to another. One of these sites was the Hall of Central Harmony or 中和殿.
The Hall of Central Harmony is one of the three large halls in the Forbidden City, but it is also the smallest of the three. The hall wasn’t particularly that significant though as it merely served as a resting stop of the emperor on his way to the other places in the Forbidden City. Resting stop or not, the emperor saw it fit to have a throne here as well. Well, you do need to rest in style, right? A number of minor activities are held here. The place looks more like a pavillion than a hall, but the people were still crowding around it. This place was beginning to irritate me, but there is nothing much I can do.
