Main Building of the Putuozongcheng Temple 普陀宗乘之庙
I wasn’t expecting the Putuozongcheng Temple to be that huge. I found myself having to climb stairs again and I still haven’t reached the main building of the temple complex. It actually looks nearer than it actually is since the main building was that big. Most people would recognize the main building for its similarity to the Potala Palace It is several stories high and I wonder if it is even possible to climb all the way to the top since the stairs to the building aren’t that obvious.
At the Foot of the Main Temple Building of Putuozongcheng Temple 普陀宗乘之庙
I stopped for a while once I got to the foot of the main building and realized that I was already a way up the hill where the temple complex was sitting on. No wonder I was so tired, don’t forget that I just came from wandering around the Mountain Resort and that place is even bigger. From here you can already see the parts of the Mountain Resort, most especially the Great Wall like structure which encircles the grounds. Fortunately, for me, there weren’t a lot of people here so I was not really pressured to keep moving forward.
