The elderly gentleman recommended a shortcut which will bring me back to Wenjin Chamber 文津阁 since I didn’t know I had already been there. He did warn me that normally it is the locals who use this route but said that I should be able to find it. I veered from the paved road and follow a well trodden dirt path through the forest. It was actually a freshing walk, but it would seem that I was not getting any nearer my destination. I would be walking through the forest for tens of minutes without seeing anyone. Was I lost?
After around thirty minutes of walking I came across a fence which clearly says no tresspassing. At least there seems to be some activity here, but still no one. There weren’t any signs anymore here and I really didn’t know where I was. Finally there was a large pavillion near the top of a hill which gave me some time to catch my breath. Getting lost is tiring. Until I finally made it back to somewhere familiar did I start to see some people. Who knows what would have happened had I really gotten hopelessly lost there.
