I passed the Mirror of Two Lakes and was trying to decide where to go. This place is really huge and diverse. The lowlands are easy enough to see, but they are still too far apart. But remember that another component of the Mountain Resort is that it also has mountains. I decided to follow a trail that leads to the top of a mountain, at least I think it does. Actually, I wasn’t really sure where this trail goes, I was merely following it in the hopes that it would lead me to someplace interesting.
And it did. I was surprised to see a remains of what used to be a temple here in the Mountain Resort. Much of the original structure was gone and only the foundation remains visible. There was no description which usually comes with places of interest so I really had no idea what it was. There was a massive bell off to the right which was enclosed in a cage, so visitors and still see it but not touch it. I can only assume that this bell was once part of the temple that used to stand here.
