Ticket Booth at the Temple of Heaven Park
I have seen photos of the Temple of Heaven all my life, I remember having to draw this temple when I was young for an art class. It is truly a magnificent temple and I always wanted to visit it. That time has finally come since I was already at the Temple of Heaven Park. The park is a large piece of greenery in the heart of Beijing. This is quite funny since Beijing is notorious for the poor quality of its air. However, parks are quite common here. The Temple of Heaven Park is one of the largest pieces of park in central Beijing.

The Temple of Heaven is known as one of the best examples of Ming architecture. So good is that architecture that it became synonymous with Chinese architecture. The style can be found almost everywhere in the park from the Divine Kitchen to the ticket booths. There is a separate entry for visitors who only wish to visit the temple itself. You can also choose to just visit the park, which seems to be quite a popular place for the locals.
