View of the Hillsides in Cameron Highlands
Honestly, I didn’t really plan much for this little vacation, I figured to just come here and see what I can do here. Naturally, the road to Tanah Rata was my introduction to Cameron Highlands, I found it interesting enough that I decided to retrace my path from the entrance of Tanah Rata. Much of the road here is all downhill so I don’t think I would have a tough time here.
Extensive Highway Snaking to Cameron Highlands
I merely followed the highway going up to Tanah Rata but only in reverse. There was no sidewalk to follow so I was practically walking on the highway. I would stop once in a while to take photos. Along the way, I would see how much of the slopes of the mountains here in Cameron Highlands have been converted to farming. Much has been said about this since this contributes to erosion and flooding. It seem that the development is taking priority over conservation.
