The star attraction of the MacRitchie Nature Park is the Tree Top Walk. Any brochure or website featuring the park will definitely feature the Tree Top Walk. It is supported by HSBC, thus the walk bears its name. The Tree Top Walk as the name implies is an elevated trail that takes visitors through the tree tops. From a rather steep road from the main trail, a wooden walkway brings visitors to the Tree Top Walk itself.
The Tree Top Walk is basically a bridge between two hills within the park. The bridge goes through thick forest and you can look down at the trees below too. The bridge is rather narrow though. If would be rather cramped if someone needs to pass you on the bridge. Naturally, people would try to have their photos taken on the bridge itself, so depending on your luck, you might have to pass through several groups of people on the bridge. But not to worry though, there is no danger of falling. The railings are quite high and the bridge itself is solid.
