Probably one of the main reasons why I decided to visit the MacRitchie Nature Park is because of the heavily promoted Tree Top Walk. However, it turns out it is not really easy to get to. I have walked several kilometers of thick jungle but there is still not sign of the tree top walk. Okay, there were literal signs which point the way to the tree top walk, but they are really a long way off. However, after passing through the Jelutong Tower, I came across a map which says that I am actually near the Tree top Walk.
Unfortunately, its turns out that the Tree Top Walk is one way only, and I was coming in from the wrong direction. The tree top walk branches out of the main hiking trail and loops back on the trail. This means that I needed to go forward where the entrance of the tree top walk is, go through the tree top walk and then retrace my steps back on the main trail. Anyway, I didn’t come all the way here just to turn back. I was determined to see this famed walk. Though I am not keeping my hopes up.
