Towards the end of the promenade area, at least where I thought it stopped. The walkway becomes an overpass to cross a small patch of sea, it continues on to some housing estates. The walkway is right beside a major highway and it was thoughtful of them to put noise barriers. It is actually very effective in blocking off all the sound from the highway since I was already right beside the highway, the vehicles hardly make any sound. These noise barriers are used all over the territory especially in along highways which pass through housing estates.
Out on the sea, there is a small container port, this is much smaller than the main container port which build Hong Kong. This port exists primarily to support the nearby Hung Hom KCR station. As most of the normal container traffic goes through a different area. The walkway goes even further but I was getting really hot that time and my strength was already waning. I was time to head back.
