I thought I was done exploring the small town center of Orange. It is quaint, but in the end there wasn’t much to see here considering how old the town actually was. I was about to make my way to railway station when I saw a sign which was pointing to an arch. I obviously didn’t prepare much for this trip and I didn’t list down all the places I needed to visit so I was just going by what I see in the signs. I realized that there was another important location that I need to visit here in Orange.
Apparently, there is a triumphal arch here in Orange and it is slightly outside the town center. It wasn’t difficult to find since it is just a straight road out of town. Along the way, there wasn’t much to see in the town. The shops weren’t very interesting and they seemed to be very quiet if they were even open at all. I guess this is just a sign as too how little tourist traffic actually makes it all the way here. It was strange considering how close this town is to the city of Avignon. Either way, it was good so that it doesn’t get over-touristed like some places.
