Orchids at the Orchid Farm in Cameron Highlands
There seems to be no end to the amount of nature related establishments Cameron Highlands has to offer. Just a few meters away from the Highlands Apiary, there was a rather small orchid farm. What do you sell in an Orchid Farm? Orchids, of course! And this place has lots of them. The orchid farm was rather sorry looking with a small sign which advertises itself. Visitors can go in the orchid farm and see what they have to offer.
Inside the Orchid Farm
While I am not orchid expert, the flowers were quite nice. The lone caretaker at the orchid farm was busy tending the plants and told me to smell of them. Indeed they were nice smelling indeed. I didn’t expect that from orchids. The lady has several rows of orchid on display. This probably caters more to local tourists since foreigners won’t be able to bring these back home. As for me, I can only take back photos of them.
